Users
Curious, capable generalists who want to use AI in their work and life, and understand its wider consequences without already being AI insiders. They arrive needing a credible next step, not an exhaustive field guide.
Product Purpose
Way Into AI helps people get oriented and act well in a fast-moving field. It offers two routes through the same editorial home: practical application and clear-eyed understanding.
Positioning
Rather than making visitors choose between a tools-and-tips site and a policy/intellectual analysis site, Way Into AI gives both needs a legible, equal entrance and keeps the resulting work in one living record.
Operating Context
Visitors enter through Use AI for guides, workflows, tools, and agentic coding, or Understand AI for capability, governance, work, power, safety, and consequences. Posts and logs are the chronological archive; the two routes are the orientation layer.
Capabilities and Constraints
The existing site is Flowershow content authored in Markdown/MDX, with Tailwind utility classes available in raw HTML. Preserve real routes and editorial material; do not invent testimonials, metrics, customers, or policy claims. The custom visual landing page must remain readable, responsive, and accessible.
Brand Commitments
The name is Way Into AI. Its voice is direct, useful, and unpretentious: concrete examples and honest uncertainty over hype, jargon, or false certainty. Its new waymark shows two open routes meeting at a clay-red signal point; it replaces the older split-colour AI tile. The two entry routes are named Use AI and Understand AI.
Evidence on Hand
The repository contains practical guide and workflow material under ref/ and posts/, contextual/policy material under the same editorial system, a two-tone logo at assets/ailearnedtoday-logo.webp, and several existing editorial images. No customer proof, quantitative performance claims, or dedicated photographic brand library has been supplied.
Product Principles
- Give a first-time visitor an immediately useful choice.
- Keep practical agency and wider understanding equally serious.
- Make the site feel like a well-kept field notebook, not an AI growth funnel.
- Use editorial specificity and real material instead of generic AI imagery or claims.
- Let the archive grow without making it the burden of the first screen.
Accessibility & Inclusion
Use semantic headings, descriptive alternative text, keyboard-accessible links, readable contrast, and layouts that work at narrow mobile widths.
